[Global mapping] Creating global mapping from package local mapping

Issue

I have local mapping names and mapping targets in my existing test packages.

How can I populate them to my global mapping file?

Solution

  1. Create a new ecu.test project and do not load any configurations.
Please unload any .tbc and .tcf by removing them from the configuration window if present.

  2. You can now multi select the needed packages and drag and drop them into the new project.
You can drag and drop the folder structure of the packages as well.

  3. Click on Check project.

The command Check project invokes a check of the current project and all containing packages, generators and subprojects.

  1. Click Create missing mapping items in global mapping space.
This should create the global mapping bulk entries for all of the added packages.

  1. Save the newly created global mapping entries.
