I want to view the signal behavior of the test quantities that are used in the trace analysis to better understand the test report.

Solution

The plot feature of the trace analysis adds static images to the report. For a detailed description please check the ecu.test help.

But there is also an interactive viewer available that can be accessed directly from each individual trace step in the report.

From this point it will show all signals which were used by the trace step, independent of signal source.

It can also display all signals of the whole trace analysis, even for extracted bus signals.

This only needs an active signal data cache during execution. This option is active by default.
