[dSPACE] Missing dSPACE.log

Issue

I want to provide dSpace.log files as details to a support ticket, but I can not find them.

Solution

This is probably related to the dSPACE version you are using.

Until dSPACE release 2016-A all messages of dSPACE products have been stored in dSPACE.log.

With the release of dSPACE 2016-B all messages of dSPACE products will be stored in its own binary file.

If you open your log file (e.g. in ControlDesk 7.1 and click on the red book icon) each single binary file
is gathered and merged into a log file and displayed in XDSML format.

Generating diagnostic information is handled the same way, therefore it is necessary to provide these as well to analyze the dSPACE log file.
